Nobel Laureates express support for Iran freedom gathering

(Media Advisory- June 10, 2015) – The organizing committee for the June 13 Paris rally for Iran freedom announced on Wednesday that 15 Nobel laureates have expressed their support for the gathering and its objectives in a joint statement.

According to the committee, the individuals earned Nobel prizes in the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry, and economics between 1979 and 2012.

On Tuesday it was announced that more than 600 dignitaries from more than 60 countries have confirmed their plans to attend the June 13 gathering in Paris.

Video messages by distinguished American lawmakers in support of the gathering and its message

(Media Advisory- June 9, 2015) – According to the event organizers, more than 600 political dignitaries including more than 120 parliamentarians from more than 60 countries have confirmed their plans to attend the June 13 gathering in Paris.

The dignitaries represent a wide spectrum of political viewpoints and will come to Paris from the U.S. and from throughout Europe, Canada, Australia, Africa, Asia, and Muslim countries.

In addition to a bipartisan delegation from the US Congress, some of the most distinguished American lawmakers including Ed Royce, the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Eliot Engel, the ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, have recorded video messages to express their support for the gathering and its message.

Conditions and prospects for an acceptable nuclear agreement and correct policy for dealing with the growing threat of Islamic fundamentalism and the destructive role of the Iranian regime are among the issues that will be in the focus of the June 13 event, in Villepinte, north of Paris “United against Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism; regime change by people and Iranian resistance.”

Worldwide mobilization campaign for June 13 event includes 330 Iranian associations
Campaign was carried out in 24 countries, 345 cities and towns

Media Advisory (June 8, 2015) – The organizing committee for the June 13 gathering of Iranian expatriates and international supporters t o address the global rise of Islamic fundamentalism and the June 30 deadline for nuclear deal announced on Monday, June 8 that 330 associations, Iranian organizations and their international supporters took part in the mobilization campaign preceding the event.

The campaign was carried out in 24 countries and in 345 cities and towns from across five continents.

According to the organizing committee, in some of the countries including France, Germany, the UK, Poland, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands the associations of local citizens and local supporters of the Iranian resistance played an important role in the mobilization campaign.

The organizing committee also announced that the insignia that was designed specifically for the event was put on the display. (Please see the top picture)

The committee has also partnered with the symphony orchestra of Albania state radio and television to have them perform live at the event.
