Maryam Rajavi congratulates Muslims for arrival of holy month of Ramadan

She hailed those participating in uprisings in the Middle East and Ashraf residents

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Maryam Rajavi congratulated her compatriots inside and outside of Iran; the Muslims throughout the world, especially those participating in uprisings in Syria, Libya, Yemen and Iraq; the political prisoners in Iran; and those struggling for freedom in Ashraf. She emphasized that in Ramadan, for the true followers of Muhammad, voicing their abhorrence of the clerical regime ruling Iran as the abominable enemy of Islam and Muslims, and supporting those who have risen up against it is an urgent Islamic duty.

Pointing to the appalling state of economy that has tumbled majority of Iranians people into poverty, taking away a major part of their purchasing powers, Mrs. Rajavi called on all Iranians to help as much as possible the families that have no one to look after them, families of prisoners, orphans, and the youth and children that are stranded in the streets to earn their living.

She called Ashraf as the vivid piety of people who have risen up and overcome deception and betrayal of religious beliefs. Ashraf is where hypocrisy, enmity and atrociousness are no more and instead sisterly and brotherly behavior, sincerity and unison have taken roots. No wonder that the mullahs and their Iraqi cohorts want Ashraf residents to either surrender or to be annihilated. However, they shall never succeed.

Mrs. Rajavi urged all Muslims to rush to the aid of Ashraf residents. She prayed to God to help the Iranian people and their resistance to bring down the regime of Velayat-e faqih.
