London unable to present any evidence against the Iranian Mojahedin

NCRI- In an article that was published in the June 15 issue of prominent Italian Magazine, Panorama, Mr. Aldo Forbice the distinguished Italian journalist and human rights activist wrote that not even one piece of evidence was presented that supports the EU’s claim to include the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) in the terror list.

Mr Forbice wrote that Iranian opposition coalition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), headquartered in Paris and led by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, has submitted two thousand pages of documents to Brussels against the British claims on the PMOI(MEK).

He said London has not been able to present even a single evidence dated after 2001 and the dossier includes not even one piece of evidence of a terrorist activity by PMOI(MEK).

The Panorama article added: “For a number of years, about 3000 Iranian dissidents have been living in Camp Ashraf in Iraq. They have handed over their weapons to the U.S. and Britain and have renounced violence. Thus, why does Britain insist so much to blacklist them? This is probably the price for freeing the 14 British soldiers who were taken hostage by Tehran. Some analysts believe that the reason for hostage-taking was to take advantage of it with regards to the list.”
