Large crowds attend memorial ceremony for fallen protestor

NCRI – Large crowds of people paid their respects on Friday to a young man murdered by regime forces during the February 14 anti-regime uprisings on the 40th day after his death.

According to Iran Khabar, family, friends and large crowds paid their respects by appearing at Mohammad Mokhtari’s place of burial in Behesht-e Zahra cemetery.

 

During the ceremony, people expressed solidarity with the family and prayed for the young protestor.

According to reports, intelligence and security agents of the regime had created a tense atmosphere at the scene and prevented more people from joining the ceremony. Two people were also arrested by the regime’s intelligence agents, according to these reports.
