Joyful crowd of Iranians outside the Norwegian parliament

NCRI – For the second consecutive day on Wednesday, hundreds of Iranians and supporters of the Resistance from Norway gathered outside the Norwegian parliament in Oslo to welcome and offer their support to the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

NCRI – For the second consecutive day on Wednesday, hundreds of Iranians and supporters of the Resistance from Norway gathered outside the Norwegian parliament in Oslo to welcome and offer their support to the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
 
The diverse and joyful crowd waved three-coloured Iranian flags displaying the Lion and Sun emblem and repeatedly chanted “Iran Maryam, Maryam Iran” and “Freedom and democracy with Maryam Rajavi”. Upon Mrs. Rajavi’s arrival, the crowd started to sing the hymn “the pioneer of liberty” before giving her a thunderous applause.

The supporters of the Resistance stayed outside the parliament until Mrs. Rajavi’s departure, and once again gave her a warm ovation. They also showered her car with flowers as it passed by.

The media were present and widely covered the event on both days.
