Jaromír Štětina, a Member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic, has wished the Iranian people a happy Persian New Year.
He especially greeted members of the Iranian diaspora and members of the main Iranian opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) in Camp Liberty, Iraq.

Mr. Štětina said:
“Dear Iranian friends, allow me please on the occasion of Nowrouz to congratulate you and to wish you and your families the best.”
“Especially I am greeting the people who are living in the diaspora and people who are living in Camp Liberty. I have followed your struggle and fate for many years, and therefore I wish you to return to your beautiful country soon, and I wish you to return to a free and democratic Iran. Khodahafez,” he added.
Members of the European Parliament have sent their best wishes to the people of Iran on the occasion of Nowrouz, the Iranian New Year 1395, which coincides with the arrival of spring.
