Iranians in Sweden rip human rights abuses in Iran

NCRI – Iranians in Sweden held a rally in central Gothenburg over the weekend to denounce human rights violations by the regime in Iran.

The Iranians also held placards congratulating Iran’s main opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, PMOI (Mujahedin-e Khalq, MEK), on its 50th anniversary.

Literature exposing the mullahs’ abysmal human rights record were made available to local Swedish people wanting to learn more about the conditions in Iran.

The protestors called for a halt in European Union ties to the Iranian regime until torture and execution are ended in Iran.

The mullahs’ regime in Iran has hanged more than 800 people since the start of the year.
