Demonstrators also called for the prosecution of Iranian regime officials for crimes against humanity. Despite the cold weather, these demonstrations were held by hundreds of Iranians in the cities of Paris, London, The Hague, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Rome and Ottawa.
Participants in many of these cities also held ceremonies in memory of the brave Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti, murdered under torture by the mullahs’ henchmen while in custody. Various political dignitaries also took part in these demonstrations.
