NCRI – This trip is nothing but pinning hope on the bankrupt and utterly failed policy of appeasement and submitting to mullahs’ blackmail. This happened at the time that millions in Tehran chanted “down with Khamenei,” “down with principle of Velayat-e-faqih (absolute rule of religious dictator).
This happens only a few days after the bloody crackdown of the Iranian protesters on February 14, which led to two people being slain. The protesters rejected the clerical regime in its entirety.
The despicable meeting with the mullahs’ President and holding joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of the clerical regime, utterly isolated domestically and internationally, and is at its last phase, would only embolden the regime to further suppress Iranian people.
Making deals with the clerical regime that is bound to inevitable overthrow is an obvious complicity in suppression in Iran and would only result in notoriety for Germany among Iranian people.
