On February 12, members of the Iranian diaspora, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), will hold a grand gathering in Paris, France. This rally is in solidarity with the current revolution in the making in Iran, as well as honoring the legacy of the country’s 1979 anti-monarchic revolution. The latter is the rejection of a one-party state and any sort of tyranny, and this has been evident in the recent popular slogan of “Death to the oppressor, be it Shah, or the [Supreme] Leader.”
