Iranian exile protest against mullahs’ terrorist bombing in Iraq

HambourgNCRI – Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance staged protest rallies and demonstrations across the world to condemn terrorist bombing of a bus carrying Iraqi workers to Ashraf City, where the main Iranian opposition, the People’s Mojahedin, is based in Iraq.

Participants called on Iraqi authorities and the UN Secretary General to intervene to safeguard the status of the PMOI in Iraq under the fourth Geneva Convention. They also called for reaffirmation of PMOI members’ refugee status in Iraq. 

Arhus - DenmarkThe move by Iranians was backed by dozens of political and human rights organizations and personalities around the world in their letters to Iraqi President and the Secretary General.

Protests by Iranians have already taken place in at least 16 capitals and major cities in Europe, North America and Australia.
