Iranian-American association welcomes House resolution in favor of PMOI

NCRI – The Californian Society for Democracy in Iran has released a statement this week welcoming a resolution by 110 US Congressmen calling on the State Department to delist the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

In a statement, the Society for Democracy in Iran said the lawmakers have “called on the Obama administration to remove the PMOI from the US terrorist list and place the American policy on the right path.”

The Society for Democracy in Iran referred to the Iranian President-elect’s message to the lawmakers, saying that Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s proposed option for changing the Iranian regime by the Iranian people and Resistance is the only viable option for Iran.

Any other policy intended to ignore this reality will be doomed to fail, the statement added.
