NCRI – An Azeri student activist in Iran has undergone cruel torture in prison, according to his lawyer.
The lawyer described Younes Soleimni’s condition as “extremely bad.”
“When I saw him during a visit he told me that he had suffered three strokes due to the torture he had experienced. They electrocuted him and as a result he lost consciousness several times and had to be taken to a clinic,” the lawyer added.
Mr. Soleimani was arrested on June 17 on unknown charges.
