NCRI – The Association in Defense of Women’s Rights in Iran has called the April 2 as the day of solidarity with political prisoners in Iran. Second of April is the 13th day of the Iranian New Year which marks the day in which people traditionally go out to reject evil.

In a statement released in Iran, the group has called on Tehran residents to gather in Mellat Park to display their support and solidarity with the political prisoners as a gesture of rejecting the evil of the ruling clerical dictatorship in Iran.

The women’s association expressed hope that the new Iranian year will be the year of freedom and equality.

Iranian New Year starts on March 21 which is the first day of spring.

Mullahs’ secret nuclear program was first unveiled by the Iranian Resistance in 2003 based on the information obtained by the PMOI from within the regime.

The Iranian regime has threatened to execute all political prisoners affiliated to the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran following the referral of its nuclear file to the UN Security Council. Hojjat Zamani, a member of the PMOI was secretly hanged on February 7 in Gohardasht Prison, just days after the regime’s referral.
