NCRI – An expert in international law and a prominent Swiss lawyer and jurist, Marc Henzelin, told INTV news that the Mojahedin of Ashraf are legally recognized as political refugees. He said “PMOI members are all political refugees according to international instruments and it is not just up to the Iraqi government to deliver the status, but to recognize the status which is legally binding.”
“We are going to carry on the push to convince the international community that the PMOI in Iraq is a stabilizing force. It is a force of peace, it is a force of progress in the future of Iraq, but it is not a threat to Iraq and Western countries,” said Henzelin.
