In her address Mrs. Rajavi announced a ten-point plan for a democratic Iran where people’s rights would be respected and a peaceful coexistence with its neighbors would be sought. She also stressed that a democratic Iran would be a country free of nuclear arms and weapons of mass destruction.

The president-elect of the NCRI also emphasized that the world is not obliged to choose between a nuclear armed fundamentalist regime or a war, but there is a third option and that is to support Iranian people and their resistance for democratic change in Iran.
Mrs. Rajavi’s remarks was warmly welcomed by dozens of representatives of Euro Council member states in today’s meeting which was chaired by Lord Russell-Johnston of the British Liberal Democratic Party.
