Iran: Human rights violations exposed in Euro Council Group meeting

NCRI – Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, exposed brutal human rights violations in Iran in a meeting by the Liberal Group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg today. In her speech she also outlined her ten-point plan for a democratic Iran.

Mrs. Rajavi was praised by representatives of member states for her courage and ongoing struggle for freedom and democracy in Iran and respect for human rights.

The President-elect of the NCRI was invited to the meeting by the Liberal Group of the Council of Europe on the initiative of Lord Russell-Johnston.
