From Brussels to Copenhagen and Stockholm, the participants in rallies are demanding that the justice be served for the Mojahedin by taking them off the terror list.
Stockholm event entered its second day while the demonstrations in Copenhagen and Brussels are in their third and tenth day respectively.
"We want to voice our support for the PMOI and let the Swedish government know that it should be removed from the EU's list of terrorist organizations. Such listing is not only against the Iranian people's national interest but is contrary to the peace and security of the region and the world," said a statement issued by the organizers of demonstration in Stockholm.
Lord Tarsem King of West Bromwich, a prominent member of British House of Lords addressed the rally in Stockholm. He said, "The British government failed to overturn a court ruling in favor of the PMOI handed down by the British Court of Appeal. Actions by the EU Council to maintain the PMOI on the EU terror list are illegal. The EU must comply with the rule of law by delisting the Mojahedin and avoiding a major legal fiasco."
