Iranian regime closes roads to stop drivers seeing anti-regime graffiti

NCRI – Paranoid mullahs in Iran blocked main streets to cars to stop drivers seeing anti-regime graffiti springing up in cities across the country.

In Bandar Abbas, security agents closed down Imam Boulevard on Thursday to clear slogans including ‘Damn with high prices, down with Khamenei’ and ‘Dead or alive we take back Iran’.

In Minab and Bandar Abbas, security forces had stepped up patrols to catch graffiti writers and there were clashes between youths and security forces in Chabahar and Kenarak in Sistan province.

Sharif Industrial University was also surrounded by high numbers of security and basij forces on Wednesday, May 29, with reports that there was ‘one guard for every student. Helicopters then arrived to patrol the skies the following morning, according to reports from the campus.

Mullahs have tightened security and are restricting civil liberties across the nation in fear of a repeat of the 2009 mass public uprisings during this month’s election.
