Iran: 524 Iranian Youth Condemn Slander and Demonization Against the PMOI

Publication of the names of 524 freedom-loving Iranian youth by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) coincided with the reopening of the ” The Children of Camp Ashraf” show after 33 years under the title of a documentary aimed at covering up the use of under-15 child soldiers by the vile mullahs’ security forces in at least nine provinces during the 2022 uprisings.

The statement of these youths in November 2021 exposed the “festival” of continuous lies by a regime-affiliated journalist about the ” The Children of Camp Ashraf.”

  • Ali Fallahian, former Minister of Intelligence and one of the main architects of heinous terrorist crimes inside and outside Iran, said on July 9, 2017: “The Ministry of Intelligence needs cover for gathering information, whether inside or outside the country. We do not send an intelligence officer to Germany or America to say I am from the Ministry of Intelligence; business or journalism cover is needed.”
  • Statement of the youths: The regime-affiliated journalist has once again started working under the title of “Iran expert” to whitewash the mullahs’ crimes and discredit their democratic alternative by talking about a so-called “political cult” that uses “psychological tricks” and “brainwashing.”
  • The fact that the child of two PMOI members [father martyred and mother in Ashraf] has become the subject and tool of this false scenario indicates the influence and extent of the mullahs’ lobbying in Western countries, including Germany, which we have also seen previously in the UK, France, the US, Sweden, and other countries.
  • This is one of the known tools of the Iranian regime’s secret service, which employs individuals with financial incentives or by threatening and intimidating their family members in Iran, using them under the title of “former PMOI members.” We have extensive experience with Ministry of Intelligence agents under this title.
  • Iranian youth inside and outside the country are more than ever embracing this great resistance movement, a movement that for over four decades has exclusively fought against the religious-fascist dictatorship in Iran with great effort and endless sacrifice.
  • The Commission on Security and Counter-Terrorism of the National Council of Resistance of Iran: The regime’s agent Iraj Mesdaghi admitted on February 7, 2024, on a TV channel affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence that he had been involved from the beginning in making the film ” The Children of Camp Ashraf” and was one of its consultants. He said: “I was aware of this film from the start. I am one of its consultants.” The functions of this Ministry of Intelligence agent have been exposed and condemned by 1,606 former political prisoners, and their names are available to the public on the PMOI website.
  • This subaltern of Assadollah Lajevardi (also known as “the butcher of Evin Prison”) claimed, two years after the discovery of Hamid Noury’s emails related to him, which are available in the court file and with the Swedish police, in a ridiculous scenario to justify Hamid Noury’s emails to him, that Hamid Noury “accidentally touched my email… and then panicked about what happened? 28 seconds later, a blank email comes to me because his hand had touched the document…” (Clubhouse, April 16, 2022).
  • This same agent and his gang (disclosed agents of the Ministry of Intelligence such as Reza Gooran, Ahmad Vahdani, Siamak Naderi, and Mojtaba Zargar) have been behind writing statements under the title of “support for freedom of expression and the screening of the documentary ‘The Children of Camp Ashraf ‘ at the annual Gothenburg Film Festival” based on received orders.
  • Akram Habibkhani in Ashraf 3: Regarding the film by the Ministry of Intelligence agents about the Ashraf children, which turned out to have a well-known infiltrator as its consultant, so far, Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, Messrs. Patzelt, Stevenson, and our homeland’s artists and writers Mohammad Shams, Nahid Hemmat Abadi, Gisou Shakeri, Dr. Khosro Shahriari, Amir Aram, Fereydoun Jourak, Dr. Hamidreza Taherzadeh, Bahram Rahmani, Hossein Mahini, and Sadreddin Tam have written very enlightening and informative articles that clarify the regime’s policy against the PMOI and Iranian Resistance. As someone who has been a target of the regime’s attacks in this context as an “unkind mother,” I remind fellow Iranians of a page from the book “Sherafat be Yaghma Rafteh (Stolen Honor),” published in June 2013. I only add that Amir Yaghmaei, contrary to the claims of “child soldiers,” has never participated in any operations, wars, or conflicts (PMOI website, February 14, 2024).

Excerpt from the statement of freedom-loving Iranian youth:

Iranian youth condemn slander and demonization against the PMOI

On October 28, 2021, the German ZEIT ONLINE website published an article by Luisa Hommerich titled “Finally Free.” A report spanning several pages filled with slanders against the main opposition and the real alternative to the religious dictatorship in Iran.

In February 2019, a similar ” ordered” article by the same author was published in Der Spiegel. After a ruling by the Hamburg State Court, the slanderous and contested sections of the article were removed…

While the latest card of the mullahs’ regime, in the form of Ebrahim Raisi, the butcher of the 1988 massacre, has been revealed, and repression, executions, terrorism, and efforts to acquire a nuclear bomb are increasing, Ms. Hommerich has once again started working under the title of “Iran expert” to whitewash the mullahs’ crimes and discredit their democratic alternative by discussing a so-called “political cult” that uses “psychological tricks” and “brainwashing.”

Since Ms. Hommerich clearly has close relationships with individuals associated with the Iranian secret service and her articles are simultaneously published verbatim or with similar content on Iranian regime websites (this also applies to the October 28, 2021 report), this report can rightly be called an ” ordered article. “

The fact that Amin Golmaryemi, the child of two PMOI members [father martyred and mother in Ashraf], has become the subject and tool of this false scenario indicates the influence and extent of the mullahs’ lobbying in Western countries, including Germany, which we have also seen previously in the UK, France, the US, Sweden, and other countries. This is one of the known tools of the Iranian regime’s secret service, which employs individuals with financial incentives or by threatening and intimidating their family members in Iran, using them under the title of “former PMOI members.” We have extensive experience with Ministry of Intelligence agents under this title. One of them was sentenced to two years and four months in prison in 2016 in Berlin for selling PMOI’s information to the Ministry of Intelligence.

Iranian youth inside and outside the country are more than ever embracing this great resistance movement, a movement that for over four decades has exclusively fought against the religious-fascist dictatorship in Iran with great effort, and endless sacrifice, and will eventually overthrow it. Luisa Hommerich’s ordered article also cannot stop this rapid process…and outside Iran.

The parents of some of us, the signatories of this statement, were members of the PMOI in Iraq. Some of us came to Europe, the United States, and Canada as children in 1990 because of the bombings in Iraq. Some of us returned to Iraq to be with our parents and the PMOI when we grew up, and we are currently living in foreign countries.

We are ready to testify before any authority that the claims made by Ms. Hommerich in the article “Finally Free” are outright lies.

We do not want to remain indifferent to this deliberate manipulation and distortion of facts. The Iranian Resistance, the residents of Ashraf, and especially the young men and women in Ashraf, inspire thousands of young people in Iran who are the driving force behind civil uprisings and are increasingly organizing themselves within the framework of Resistance Units. By protecting Ashraf and its residents against the enemy’s political and terrorist conspiracies, we support the brave youth and uprising leaders in Iran.

This is our commitment to a free Iran, and its realization is our greatest aspiration.

The signatures and names are available for reference at the office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in Germany.
