Azzam Al-Ahmad, President of Fatah faction in the Palestine Parliament and Palestinian Authority Deputy Prime Minister participated in an interview with Iran National Television.
Excerpts are as follows:
First of all I would like to express our deepest gratitude to our brothers in the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran and we honor our brotherly, friendly and everlasting relationship. Any victory for the Palestinian people is a victory for you. As you know, 138 countries in the world gave a positive vote to a UN resolution that is very important because it upgrades Palestine’s status in the United Nations.
We express our gratitude to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and all PMOI members and Iranian Resistance supporters for standing along our side.
We are very proud of Ashraf residents’ perseverance through all these years. We remember the ceremony held in Ashraf after President Arafat passed away, proving the deep bonds between us.
The PMOI delisting opens widespread horizons before the this organization to be freed of the limitations and shackles of this designation, and this is a victory for you and all freedom loving people across the world, before all the people of Palestine.
