Iranians living in Sweden held a protest in Stockholm condemning human rights abuses in Iran and calling on the international community to bring the regime’s leaders to justice.

Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) marched in center of Stockholm on Saturday calling for the regime’s human rights dossier to be referred to the United Nations Security Council for punitive measures.

The protesters carried a large sign calling on Sweden, EU, US, UN to stop executions in Iran, and to stop mullahs’ regime terrorism in Iraq, Syria and the region.

They urged the international community to support human rights and democracy in Iran.

The supporters of the PMOI also condemned the regime’s appalling treatment of women.

The protesters furthermore called on UN to insure the security, protection, and the rights of Iranian opposition members in Camp Liberty in Iraq.
