German Euro MP denounced Iran regime terrorism

German Euro MP denounced Iran regime terrorismNCRI – In a letter to the UN Secretary General, German member of the European Parliament, Dr Helmuth Markov, condemned terrorist bombing of a passenger bus carrying Iraqi workers to Ashraf City, Iraq, home to thousands of PMOI members, the main opposition to mullahs’ rule in Iran.

"The victims were known to have worked in Ashraf city for years. This operation came only two days after the visit of Iraq by the Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. This seems to be retaliation against Iraqis for their undivided support of the Mojahedin in Ashraf," wrote Dr. Markov.

The letter added: "This terrorist act is an indication of escalation of the Iranian regime’s meddling in Iraqi affairs at the time when the international community is demanding peace and calm in that tormented nation."

"The Iraqi government should give political asylum to the Mojahedin in Ashraf. You know that Ashraf residents have the status of protected persons under the Fourth Geneva Convention and International Law. The status was granted to the people in Ashraf after 16 months of screening by the Multi-National-Force of Iraq," stressed the German MEP and concluded: "It is time that the Iraqi government grants PMOI personnel in Ashraf political asylum."
