Former Slovakia DPM backs Iran’s democratic Resistance

NCRI – Pál Csáky, a Member of the European Parliament from Slovakia and the country’s former Deputy Prime Minister for European affairs, human rights and minorities, has sent a message of solidarity and support to the Iranian people and their Resistance movement on the occasion of Nowrouz, the Iranian New Year.

Mr. Csáky, a member of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia, said: “I wish a happy Nowrouz and Iranian New Year for the people of Iran.”

“I have a lot of sympathy for the Iranian democratic Resistance. Together with many of my colleagues from different political groups, I took part in the meeting of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi in the premises of the European Parliament recently.”

“I would like to underline that human rights should be in the center of every new trade deal and negotiation with Iran. I wish you all a lot of success and a happy and prosperous New Year,” added Pál Csáky MEP.

Members of the European Parliament have sent their best wishes to the people of Iran on the occasion of Nowrouz, the Iranian New Year 1395, which coincides each year with the arrival of spring.
