Five years in prison for Iranian retired school teacher for partaking in demonstrations

Iran: Political prisoners under torture and inhumane sentencesNCRI – The Iranian regime has sentenced a retired school teacher to five years in prison for participating in anti-regime demonstrations on December 27.

According to obtained reports, Ms. Nahid Malek Mohammadi, 59, was arrested on December 31, 2009 by the Iranian regime’s agents and later sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by a judge identified as Moqayyeseh. She is currently held at the Women’s Ward of the notorious Evin prison in Tehran.
