Dutch politician underscores support for Iranian Resistance

Dutch politician underscores support for Iranian Resistance NCRI – On the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Committee Chair of the Dutch Parliament, a group of young Iranian activists and students supporting the Iranian Resistance visited the parliament on Wednesday, March 15.

The group met with the Committee Chair, Prof. Hank de Haan, from the ruling Christian Democratic Party, and discussed the government’s policy on Iran.

The Iranian youth spoke about the threats posed by the clerical regime to world peace and growing suppression of Iranians, particularly the students and young people.

The young Iranian group emphasized the need to support the just resistance of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship in their country and called for removal of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran from the EU’s terror list. They also called on Dutch politicians to support Maryam Rajavi’s third option for democratic change in Iran.

Prof. de Haan noted the support enjoyed by the Iranian Resistance among Dutch political parties and underscored its vital role in the future of Iran. The Foreign Affairs Committee Chair also expressed his deep concern over the deteriorating state of human rights in Iran since Ahmadinejad was appointed as mullahs’ president.
