Celebrating US court order to review PMOI blacklisting

Celebrating US court order to review PMOI blacklisting Reuters – Maryam Rajavi, leader of the Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), speaks to supporters at a gathering in Auvers-sur-Oise, near Paris July 17, 2010.

Supporters of the NCRI gathered the day after the July 16 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia which, in a 22-page decision, said that the State Department must review its designation of the People's Mujahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) as a foreign terrorist organization, having failed to give the group a fair chance to overturn the listing.

The NCRI is an umbrella coalition of five Iranian political opposition groups, including the PMOI.
