California convention will address U.S. policy on Iran

NCRI – Hundreds of delegates representing Iranian-Americans in California are expected to attend a convention in Anaheim, California, on Saturday to speak about Hassan Rouhani, the human rights situation, and the U.S. policy options regarding Iran.

Several former Senior US Government officials and sitting members of congress will address the convention.

The convention also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the massacre of 30,000 prisoners of conscience in Iran in 1988 most of home were activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Rouhani’s Justice Minister Nominee was a member of the “death commission,” which sent thousands of prisoners to the gallows.

Scheduled speakers include Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Huntington Beach), Rep. Judy Chu (D-Monterey Park), former Rhode Island Democratic Congressman Patrick Kennedy and former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey and • Col. Wesley Martin, Chief Protection, Counterterrorism Officer, Coalition Forces, Iraq.

The convention is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center.
