The order spread panic at the Council of Ministers whose terrorist strategy is under attack. So much so that Jean-Claude Piris, chief of the juridical service of the body that represents the member states within the Union, gave for once a press conference in order to explain that basically, nothing has really changed. We shall see! For European judges, the blacklisting, which is made according to secret proceedings, violates “the general principle of respect for defendant’s rights.”
