NCRI – Australia has finally removed the names of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK), National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA) from its Foreign Ministry’s terrorist organizations list.
This is the last government and country in the world in which the unjust and disgraceful (terrorist) labelling against Iranian Resistance breaks apart.
Australia every three years reviews its Foreign Ministry’s list on international terrorism. This year, at the end of the review during the months of November and December 2016, the Australian government, despite Iranian regime’s demands and greed and the dealings, has finally delisted the Iranian Resistance and completely removed the names of the PMOI (MEK), the NCRI and the NLA from its Foreign Ministry’s black list of terrorist organizations.
In addition, Australia’s Foreign Ministry in its final list of terrorist organizations and entities, published in the ministry’s official site on 14 December 2016, has added the names of the Iranian regime’s most important military elements and government organizations associated with the regime’s nuclear and missile programs, and therefore, each of them are subject to specified penalties and sanctions by the Australian government as well as international sanctions.
Among the Iranian regime’s elements and organizations included in Australia’s black list, the following names can be seen:
• Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, Commander in Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC);
• Major General Rahim Safavi, Senior Military Advisor to Khamenei and former Commander in Chief of the IRGC
• Major General Qassem Soleimani, Commander of the IRGC’s Terrorist Quds Force
