ANTI-IRAN GROUP DEMAND SANCTIONS AGAINST REGIMEBy Chris Moncrieff

The Press Association, London, 24 May – Supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran rallied outside the Foreign Office in London today demanding immediate and comprehensive sanctions against the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

They delivered a petition to the Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett pointing out that “the mullahs need to acquire a nuclear bomb in order to hold the rest of the world hostage and to survive.

“They will never forgo their intentions to acquire nuclear weapons,” the protesters said.

Dowlat Nowrouzi, the UK representative of the National Council, said: “It is time for the world community to impose comprehensive sanctions against the most active state sponsor of terrorism.”
