NCRI – Al-Iraqiya coalition asked the Iraqi parliament to pressure the UN to change its Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq , Martin Kobler, accusing him being under the influence Al-Maliki, Shafaq News reported.
Ibrahim al-Mutlaq, member of Iraqi parliament from Al-Iraqiya coalition, said in a press conference in the parliament that “We demand the Iraqi parliament to pressure the UN to change its envoy to Iraq, Martin Kobler”.
According to Shafaq News al-Mutlaq addressed the Special Representative by saying, “I ask Kobler; where is your position on the abuses in Iraqi prisons , where’s your position on putting thousands of Iraqis in prisons?”
Al-Mutlaq added that ” Kobler’s actions are suspicious.”
