More arrests at campuses after Monday’s protests

NCRI – Following the Iranian people’s uprising on Monday, the regime’s intelligence and suppressive agents have made extensive arrests in universities across Iran.

In Shahr-e Kord, the regime arrested 7 students at Shahr-e Kord University dormitory on Tuesday. There are no reports about the fate of the detainees, who studied in agriculture, accounting and management fields.

 

At least 16 students from Tehran’s Sharif Technology University are also among the detainees in Evin Prison.

In Esfahan, a student activist’s fate remains unknown after he was abducted by suppressive forces of the paramilitary Bassij.

In Babol, at least two students at Noshirvani University were detained by the regime’s intelligence agents.
