IRGC Commander: Some of our elite and pillars fell behind, internal fighting is our susceptibility

NCRI – Hamedani, IRGC commander in Tehran, expressed his fear of another popular movement and uprising and warned that the crisis will continue in the current year.

Speaking at the gathering of Basij militia forces, Hamedani said: “They had hoped to finish the job in this crisis and conspiracy, and had even planned the end game. A crisis with such a heavy dust and wind that many of regime’s elite and pillars were dragged down by it. Many people who had claims on greatness, lost the track.”

Hamedani told the suppressive Basij forces: “Last year, almost every 11 to 12 days, you had to carry out a mission. The enemy expected that you would get tired and would stop… This year, they continue to plot and the crisis will continue again.”

Expressing his anxiety regarding the fallout of the deadly crisis at the very top of the regime, Hamedani warned: “What the danger is, and what we should be careful of, is the internal Satan… Some people fell behind; that shows where we are susceptible. We are susceptible in internal conspiracy.”
