IRGC chief highlights” decisive and crucial” times in the face of protests to uproot regime

JafariNCRI – The commander-in-chief of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has once again stressed that last year’s persistent protests by the Iranian people aimed at “overthrowing the establishment.”

Mohammad Ali Jafari made the comments in a speech to the regime’s agents, according to the state-run Fars news agency on Tuesday. He warned his audience that they face “a comprehensive, direct and many times more serious war with the enemies.”

Jafari added that last year’s uprisings were a “calculated sedition by the enemies to overthrow the Islamic Republic.” He also said the protests were much more dangerous than the eight year war with Iraq.

“The eight-year war with Iraq helped export the revolution, but last year’s sedition dealt heavy blows to the reputation of the revolution,” he said.

The IRGC commander added the current circumstances are “decisive and critical” for the Iranian regime, and called on the theocracy’s suppressive forces to act on their “responsibilities in these sensitive times.”
