NCRI – A member of the clerical regime’s Majlis (Parliament) questioned a decision by the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to declare Sunday and Monday as holidays, and demanded to know “the real reason for the holidays.”
Ahmadinejad’s cabinet declared that the two days are holidays in the midst of a strike at the Tehran Bazaar.
According to the state-run Parliament News on Saturday, Nasrollah Torabi rejected the government’s official reason of “summer heat,” and said, “The 40 or 41 degrees Celsius heat cannot be the real reason. There must be another underlying issue and the government must clearly tell people what the primarily and real reason is.”
