Iran: Tens of thousands protest in Tehran despite the extensive presence of repressive forces

NCRI – On the 17th day of the nationwide uprising, Tehran once more turned to the center of clashes between the people and youth against the flocks of Revolutionary Guards, Basij forces, State Security Forces, intelligence agents, plain clothes agents and special units.

Despite the presence of thousands of suppressive forces, large groups of protestors came to the streets and chanted “death to the dictator” and “death to Khamenei” throughout Tehran and particularly in Vali Asr Street, Ferdowsi Square, Enghelab Street and Square.
