NCRI- Some 1200 workers at Safa and Saveh Pipe Rolling Company in Iran protest for the non-payment wages.
Based on agreements reached earlier with the workers the back wages should have been paid by March 5, but because the wages were not paid the workers went on strike on Wednesday.
The factory has been closed on Thursday and Friday and the workers have pleged to countinue strike until their demands are met.
The non-payment of wages are countinuing while the company’s production has expanded to include three working shifts.
