Iran: Regime martial law challenged with rooftop shouts of “God is Great”

People of Tehran shouted “God is Great” from their rooftops last night between 22:00 and 22:30 local time. An undeclared martial law has been instituted and many check points have been set up across the city.

Regime agents search cars and their trunks, demanding identification from passengers. In Shahrak-e Gharb, west of Tehran, people climbed to their rooftops and used loudspeakers to urge people to unite and defend the legacy of victims of the recent uprisings, and invited people to take to the streets.
