NCRI – Dezful 3rd district urban green space workers hold a protest rally (Southwestern Iran)
In protest against not being paid from June, Dezful 3rd district urban green space workers held a gathering in front of Dezful Governor’s place on Thursday September 29.
According to workers, during the past few months they have been paid only a provisional amount by the contractor and their salaries as well as claims have not yet been completely paid. They also said that the bonuses and rewards related to 2015 have not yet been paid and that due to non-payment of the insurance premium by the contractor, their healthcare services as well as their families’ have been cut.
Factory owners hold a protest gathering in Aran and Bidgol, Isfahan (Central Iran)
A group of manufacturers in Aran and Bidgol held a protest gathering on Thursday September 29, to protest against value-added tax.
More than 1000 factory owners participated in this rally, expressing their demands on tax and market stagnation. The protesters announced that unless the issues were dealt with, all the carpet producing factories would be closed on Monday October 3.
