Iran: Protests in Oroumieh

The northwestern city of Oroumieh was the scene of protests on June 22 by people who planned to honor the memory of an innocent young female student murdered by the regime’s forces in Tehran. Demonstrators gathered in the city’s Khayam Street at around 17:30 local time and protested the killing of Neda Salehi Agha Soltan, who was shot by the Iranian regime’s forces on June 20 in the streets of Tehran.
