Iran: Major Protests of People and Farmers in Isfahan, Blocking the Security Forces

NCRI – This morning, April 9, a major gathering and big demonstration of farmers in Isfahan started in response to a cessation of their rights to water.

The presence of women in these demonstrations is noteworthy.

By blocking the marching path of hundreds of people and farmers in Isfahan, the security forces tried to control their furious protest.

Police forces and other security organs at Masjid Ali Isfahan crossroads have been cracking down on protesters’ demonstrations against water scarcity.
Farmers have announced that their move will not be stopped by the presence of a security and police force. People chant:

Machine guns and tanks no longer work.

Demonstrators also say:

Today is the Day to mourn, the farmer’s life is on the air today

and: You liar Rouhani, what happened to our Zayandeh Rud river?

It is noteworthy that Today is the 53rd day of the protest gathering of farmers who are demanding their water rights.
