Iran: Iron dealers strike in Tehran

NCRI – A number of Iron dealers in Tehran have closed down their stores and gone on strike in protest at following the fall of value of Iranian currency, according to the reports received from Iran.

In Tehran the exchange rate for a dollar has reached 3650 Tomans. This is the second day in a row that some dealers in Tehran’s Iron Bazaar have closed their shops.

In April, Iron dealers in Tehran had closed down their stores and gone on strike in protest at a six per cent hike in taxes.
