NCRI – The Iranian regime’s Guardian Council seeks to propose a plan to monitor the actions of the regime’s Majlis (Parliament) deputies during their term as members, according to the state-run Jahan News.

The website said recently, the Majlis Committee on Article 90 has set up a subcommittee to draft a bill to monitor the actions of Majlis members. The draft is at its final stages.

On the basis of the bill, if a deputy is perceived to lack sufficient competency in their first term, their credentials letter will be annulled. In the past, the letter of credentials could only be reviewed at the beginning of the deputy’s term.

The bill also proposes to monitor the Majlis members’ assets and correspondence during their term.
