A number of families of those detained during the recent uprising in Iran, gathered in front of the notorious Evin prison in Tehran on Sunday to demand the release of their loved ones. Some of the 150 protestors, who started their gathering in the morning, camped out in front of the prison until 16:00 local time despite the scorching heat.

Some of the 150 protestors, who started their gathering in the morning, camped out in front of the prison until 16:00 local time despite the scorching heat.
They even refused to leave the area for lunch, insisting on their demand to see their loved ones released.
The demonstrators have vowed to continue with their gatherings until their demands are fully met. According to these families, some of the detainees’ ages range from 14 to 17 years old, and even include elderly parents.
