Here are the latest updates on the nationwide Iran protests for regime change which erupted in mid-November. Teachers across the country are launching a nationwide strike.
Also, retirees from across the country are rallying outside the regime’s Majlis (parliament) and holding a protest coinciding with the nationwide strike by teachers. According to the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) the Iranian regime has killed at least 1500 protesters. The MEK has so far identified 547 of these martyrs.

Ashraf-3: The 40th-Day Commemoration of the Martyrs of Nationwide Uprising
In a gathering of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK) at Ashraf-3 in Albania, to honor to mark the 40th-day commemoration of more than 1,500 killed during the November uprising, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said these martyrs were empty-handed and defenseless in the face of the vicious and ruthless enemy.
Reuters Confirms NCRI’s Death Tally of 1500 From Crackdown on Iran Protests
In a special report on December 23, 2019, about the deadly crackdown on the Iran protests, Reuters confirmed the death toll of 1500 that was announced by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), otherwise known as the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), on December 15, 2019.

MEK Resistance Units commemoration of the martyrs of the Iranian people’s nationwide Nov uprising
December 22, 2019—On the eve of the 40-day commemoration of the martyrs of the Iranian people’s nationwide uprising and protests, resistance units posted messages and pictures of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, were posted in Tehran (Imam-Ali Expressway, Nezam Abad, Sattar Khan, and Marzdaran) as well as in different cities. In Tehran, the banners read, “Hail to the martyrs from Shahriar to Karaj, Sirjan, Behbahan, Shiraz, Marivan, Khorramshahr, Tehran and other cities,” “The blood of martyrs has strengthened the resolve for uprising and rebellion in Iran.”

On December 19 and 22, 2019, Resistance units posted banners carrying pictures and messages of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, in different parts of Tehran, including Niayesh Expressway, as well as in Jalal Al-Ahmad, Sattar Khan, and Baqer Khan streets, and in Karaj, Mashhad, Saveh, Tabriz, Kermanshah, Qods, Ardakan, Sabzevar and Rafsanjan. In Tabriz, pictures of Mr. Rajavi were widely distributed and posted on windshields of vehicles in the city.
