Credit Institutions Looters Were Protested in Different Cities of Iran

NCRI – Financial institutions that have been set up by Iranian regime and support of Iran’s banking system were widely protested in different cities due to plundering of people’s wealth.
Depositors of “Arman” financial institution set up protests in front of number of branches and called for urgent resolution of their problems and reclaimed from institute’s brokers their deposits return on May 24. Bankruptcy Rumors and blockage of some of its customers’ accounts has taken real shape and has resulted in massive wave of depositors to pour in different branches to reclaim their money.

Governmental media site Tabnak in an issued report on May 24th said: “Arman” financial institution consisting of two cooperative “Persian Alborz” and “united” are on the verge of bankruptcy and the status of depositors in the institution are of great concern. Depositors that their deposits have been looted staged a protest in front of “Persian Alborz” cooperative in Boroujerd, Lorestan province (South-West of Iran) on the same day. A group of people in Delfan, Lorestan province staged a protest in front of Delfan development financial institution same day too. The victims of “Arman” financial institution located in the city of Doroud in Lorestan province (South-West of Iran) staged a protest in front of the institution office on the morning of Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. Some others whose deposits have been plundered staged a protest in front of Nahavand Institute’s office calling for return of their stolen properties on Wednesday, May 24th as well.

Depositors of “Caspian” financials staged coincidently protest for their plundered money in front of various branches in Babol, northern Iran on May 24th. This institution closed its doors to protestors which caused lots of commotions.

According to obtained reports one of “Arman” financial institution’s manager in Karaj has been murdered. The regime’s prosecutor in Karaj said depositors may have killed him but it is yet unknown.
Depositors in Ahvaz (south West of Iran) protested “Development” financial institute for their plundered possessions on Wednesday May 24th. Despite massive presence of police trying to prevent gathering and protest of depositors but people resisted and did demonstration.

A group of looted people in the city of Sirjan in Kerman province (South-East of Iran) gathered in front of the Caspian Financial Institute and held a protest on Wednesday May 24th. People have written on the door of the institute: “Thieves house”.

Depositors of financial institutions have repeatedly staged protest against Iran’s financial institutions due to unpaid principals and interests of their money in recent years. Financial institutions have massively expanded in Iran in recent years. These institutions have obtained people’s money with an interest rate of 18% and 20% and have lent them with an interest rate of more than 25% to loan applicants.
