British MPs Support the Iranian People's Uprising

Mr. Matthew Offord, member of the United Kingdom’s Parliament from Hendon, in a video message expressed his full support of the ongoing faced the most widespread in the past 40 years, which is still ongoing. This uprising has many lessons to be learned:

The way in which the Iranian regime are brutally attacking civilians in over a 170 cities, the people there are brutalising, hundreds are being killed, as we speak people are attacked in the streets of Iranian cities and towns. Thousands are being injured and the way in which the regime is treating its people is uncivilised. It’s a crime against humanity. I believe that the way in which the regime has increased the price of petrol without any consultation, three times the price, in a country which transport is crucial and where it will have a knock on, onto the prices of many other things, basic food stuff and everything else, it’s treating the people with contempt, and they are doing the only thing they can do, which is protesting. They have no democratic rights, they have no civil rights, they have no human rights. This is a repressive dictatorship, and it’s showing its true face at the moment, killing, brutalising, repressing, and I plead with the world to come to the aid of the Iranian people. I plead with the world to take the lead that Madam Rajavi in Paris, the leader of the PMOI, have given. She’s called for international action, she’s called for intervention. And, that is essential, otherwise we leave 83 million people at the mercy of a bloodthirsty regime of killers.
