In Iran – stressed Bonanni – the situation is “dramatic, there are no civil liberties and unions, opponents are arrested and protests are repressed by using death sentences.” He added, “With all the vigor we condemn this and we hope that in Italy and around the world there will be protests against the regime that destroys freedoms.”
According to Bonanni “now that the International community realizes that this regime must be stopped, including its threat of nuclear escalation, we ask the Italian government to condemn its behavior and to work for adoption of international sanctions.”
He said that it was necessary for all European countries to break their economic and trade ties with the regime as it will in long term turn against themselves.
