Reactions From Inside Iran Over the Ongoing Nuclear Stalemate
Following the fruitless results of a European Union plan to seal a nuclear deal between world powers and the Iranian regime, there has been quite a chaotic reaction seen from inside the mullahs’ ruling apparatus.
The Fars news agency, affiliated to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), published an interview on Sunday with Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Kayhan daily, a known mouthpiece of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, strongly criticizing the nuclear negotiations as a Western plot and recommending the regime should quit the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
2 Brave Women Collide With a Cleric Over Hijab Warning
Two brave women in Hidaj city, NW Iran, broke the silence and clashed with a mullah who gave them a Hijab warning.
The mullah, Fattahi, gave the Hijab warning at 6 p.m. when confronted with the two in the central district of Abhar County, Zanjan Province. He told the women to watch out for what they wore! The two women collided with the cleric when hearing the Hijab warning (The state-run mojerasa.ir – September 2, 2022).
Iran’s Regime Is a Mafia of Smugglers
News about smuggling cases in Iran is published in the Iranian regime’s media on a frequent basis. The latest case that has come to light is the smuggling of 171 billion rials worth of spare parts, household appliances, and tobacco, as revealed by Omid Qalibaf, the spokesperson of the regime’s Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade.
Smuggling is one of the most profitable methods for the ‘mafia’ controlled by the regime. According to Qalibaf, the smuggling figure of 171 billion rials only included a specific number of goods and does not highlight the full extent of the country’s black market. Automobile spare parts, household appliances, tobacco, cosmetics, and clothing constitute ‘more than 80%’ of the goods smuggled into Iran by the regime’s ‘mafia’.
